Sundae Tutorial!

A quick tutorial on a basic sundae necklace. There are tons of videos out there too. I am using the kit that I want to start selling as an example, however you can use your own supplies if you have your own already :)

I am preparing a kit to sell on Store Envy, it has everything like this in. The scoop of Ice Cream will vary, and their will be lots of deco pieces to use on it, to your discretion. You will also get the hardware - necklace and hoop and eye loop as well. 

So first thing, you get two creams in the kit, or you can color your own with paint, pastels or other ink. I have light pink and white. These are actually silicone, if you did not know. So cut a hole in the icing bag and start filling the cup.

To make the Sundae look more yummy and realistic, you can add fruit canes, sprinkles or other fillings. I am also alternating the colors, strawberry cream and plain white.

I have filled it up, placed my fimo strawberries in the side, and I left a lot of cream on top. I have topped it with my ice cream scoop. I used a strawberry chocolate bunny, it also has cream and strawberry on top. At this point you want to put the eye pin into the cream. I always bend mine, instead of cutting to fit. I figure the extra thickness will ensure it stays better. Be sure to push it to the bottom!

Now I wanted to add a few more items, so I added some cream to the sides and added a few more items. A cookie and swizzle stick. 

In this kit, were a few pearly bows as well. I took some super glue and placed it on the Sundae cup, in front. Here is my final product:

Now, it will take a few days to dry completely. Once it dries, I will check the eye pin, if it is not secure I will add some super glue to it and stick it back in and let that dry. Once that is complete it can be added to the necklace.

Now a nice bag comes with the order, a mesh one, to keep your new favorite Sundae in!
