Recipe - Chocolate Muffins

Very similar to the regular muffins, these are more decant.

Items Needed

2 cups all-purpose flour(wheat is harder to use here, if you do, do 1/2 and 1/2)
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk(we still use Soy)
1/2 cup Butter

This recipe is a little harder then the plain muffins, but man are the chocolates great. Try adding in candies like peanut butter cups or mints to make them even more dessert like.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees(F)

Grease 12 muffin cups or line with paper liners

Combine dry items together. Mix wet ingredients until smooth in its own bowl. Once smooth, mix the wet in with the dry until just combined. Try not to over mix it, there should be some lumps but still well combined.

Fold in any desired candies at this point.

Bake until tooth pick comes out clean, or little moist if you like them more soft.
