Recipe - Filled Chocolate Cups

This recipe makes 24 cups, which I assure you is not enough.

Items Needed
2 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
Mold or Mini Cupcake liners

Middle of your choice

InstructionsLine a mini muffin pan with with liners OR if you are using a mold, get it out and ready to go.

Melt 1 1/4 cups of the chocolate chips. I usually use the microwave, heating in small burst and stirring until melted. Once melted drop a teaspoon full of chocolate in the mold/liners and using a pastry brush, spread the chocolate up the sides. Try to not leave any spot to thin, to support the peanut butter/filling. Pop in the fridge to harden.

Now there are types of filling you can do for these, Any is delicious.

First off peanut butter, so you have homemade Reese cups!

Or Caramel, mmm. Add a pecan to make homemade turtles.

Then, there is also Chocolate & Cream fillings, for special melty center. Add in mint extract to make it minty, or do white chocolate with peppermint for a holiday twist. Its very easy, mix any chocolate with cream to make a soft gauche like fudge. Add in flavors to make different types.

Finally, I saw one with homemade edible cookie dough! Its a decent recipe, so I will link to it instead of listing it - click here. I will have to try this cookie dough I can eat safety!
